Hi there, I’m Amy.

Amy Stevenson teaches music at Lynnwood High School, Lynnwood, Washington, as well as beginning strings at Hilltop Elementary.


Amy Stevenson has been teaching at Lynnwood High School, her alma mater, for 15 years. During her tenure at LHS the Instrumental Music Program has doubled the number of ensembles and tripled student enrollment. Currently Amy teaches 3 orchestras and the second jazz ensemble at Lynnwood High School, as well as 5th and 6th grade beginning strings at Hilltop Elementary. She loves working with the students at LHS and is lucky to partner with Phil Onishi, LHS's band director. She also co-directs the biannual school musical. She a master's degree in teaching. Amy lives in Mukilteo with her two amazing children and her husband who is also a teacher.

In 2002 Amy graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a bachelor's degree in Music Education and a minor in Jazz Composition.
